Art Program Overview
Welcome to the website for Matsunaga Elementary's Art Program. During the school year, students will experience and learn about art
through the following units of instruction:
Drawing
Painting Printmaking
Collage Textiles
Sculpture Book Arts
Ceramics Architecture
Students will also be applying elements of art (line, shape, color, texture, form,value, space) and principles of design (pattern, contrast, balance, emphasis, unity, rhythm, and movement) to their artwork.

Messy Art
Remember not to wear your new clothes to art!!! Students are always encouraged to wear a smock but messes do happen.
